How much does ebackpack cost?

The classroom edition of ebackpack starts at only Rs. 60,000 per annum for a campus.

 

What are the different versions of ebackpack?

There are 3 different versions that are suited for different needs

  • Classroom Edition - The base product that is low cost and easy to install - suits most institutions
  • Distance Edition - The edition modified to allow you to run a distance learning program through ebackpack
  • Advanced Edition - Modified version of the base ebackpack product designed specifically for your institutions needs
 
Do I also need to purchase additional servers and hire IT professionals to run ebackpack?

No. All the servers and IT is handled at ebackpack's headquarters. Your institution should have an internet connection to access ebackpack services

 

Administrator FAQs

How long does it take to get ebackpack up and running?

Your ebackpack will be ready for use within 5 days of us receiving a signed contract.

 
What are the system requirements for using ebackpack?
An internet connection and a standard web browser. That's it.
 
Can I customize ebackpack's design to my institution?
Yes, you can. Our designers integrate your institutions logo into the header of every page. You can also add links and additional information for your trainees to the login page.
 
Can I add administrative features into ebackpack?
Yes, ebackpack is designed to incorporate as many unique features as you require to optimally run your institution.
 
Can I add as many accounts as I want?
Yes, ebackpack is designed to grow with your institution. You can add as many users as you may require.

 

Instructor FAQs

Does ebackpack train me on how to use its features?
Yes, ebackpack offers you custom made trainings at the beginning of the semester. We also have a service team that comes in once a month to help you with any difficulties you may be having.
 
What type of content does the ebackpack support?
ebackpack is designed so that you can host all of your course materials, that include standard web content such as spreadsheets, PDFs, or Zip files, HTML text, images, animations, and even videos.
 
Can I include external links in my training materials?
Yes, you can include anything that can be displayed in a web browser.
 
Do I have to reload course materials every year for the same class?
No, ebackpack saves all the materials that you have loaded last year so if you want just send us an email and we will put it back up for you.

Can I give feedback to ebackpack?
Absolutely, ebackpack welcomes user feedback to continue to make it the most user friendly elearning platform.

 
What Do I do if I’ve forgotten my username or password?
If you forgot your username or password or for any other help feel free to contact your campus ebackpack administrator or call us on our support service number or email us through the web (www.ebackpack.co.in)
 
Can I use ebackpack for personal reasons e.g find a roommate or invite everyone to a party?
Absolutely, a large part of university is one’s network and social life and that is why ebackpack has created the student zone. Go ahead and submit any personal announcements on the student zone announcement board that is what it is there for.
 
What if I want to question the marks that I received?
If you are unsure about any of your marks each of the classrooms has an email your teacher feature. You can request further elaboration on your marks. Encourage your teachers to post the answer key in the course document section.
 
How long is my ebackpack available after I graduate?
Your ebackpack is available to you as long as your University wishes. At ebackpack we can provide this service indefinitely. We also have an additional ebackpack alumni feature which allows you to be in touch with all your friends and faculty. Encourage your administration to include the alumni feature in your package.
