The Virtual Classroom


Assignments: A secure space where faculty uploads assignments for which students can directly submit their responses.

Results: A single confidential space where assignments and exam result can be uploaded by faculty and viewed by the respective student.

Attendance: The attendance section allows instructors to mark attendance online, and students to view their own attendance records. The instructor can also download the attendance into an excel worksheet, so that they can be submitted to the college.

SMS: A way in which faculties and administrator can send out SMS’s when required.


Email: Every student, faculty and administrator gets a reliable and secure personal email account with the university domain name (facultyname@university.edu.in)

Classroom Announcements: A space for classroom specific announcements, informing students of when a faculty uploads a new assignment, adds a new test or makes any modification to an existing document.

Syllabus: A feature where instructors make the class syllabus and timelines available. Students will automatically be notified if the instructor makes any changes to these documents.

Course Documents: A single place where all supplemental course documents are available, such as reading lists, presentations, assignment answer keys, exam preparation materials and examples of student’s work.

Campus Calendar: A calendar that keeps everyone on campus informed of exams, holidays and other important events.

Campus Directory: A central directory provides phone numbers, extensions, email ids and office hours. This feature allows users to control their own information and keep it updated.

Campus Announcements: An online notice board for announcements relevant to the entire campus community, such as unscheduled holidays, new faculty and new campus-wide procedures.

Campus Documents: A central place for the institute to place useful documents such as forms, prospectuses and brochures.
